WHAT IS AN AUTHORIZED TRANSLATION?
The authorized translation is the translation performed by a translator who possesses an authorization issued by the Justice Ministry of the Republic of Moldova, based on the Minister order. The translation is certificated by the translator with the stamp or signature. The signature of the authorized translator can be notary legalized according to the existent legal regulations.
WHAT IS A LEGALIZED TRANSLATION?
The majority of acts presented to be translated need to be legalized by the public notary signature, thereby the translations receive an authentic form and absolute data. There are a lot of situations when it is accepted just with the translator’s signature and stamp, this fact being intern established by the institution where the translation is going to be presented. You have to remember an important thing: by the notary legalization it is not certified the translation content, but it is certified the specimen of signature and the fact that the translator possesses the authorization for the translation of the respective language issued by the Justice Ministry of the Republic of Moldova. The content and the accuracy of the translation are verified exclusively by the authorized translator with his/her signature or stamp.
WHAT IS A SIMPLE TRANSLATION?
Every person who speaks a foreign language can perform a simple translation. This translation never could be used with an official goal. By a simple translation the majority of clients refer to a translation which officially should not be signed or stamped. BirouDeTraduceri.md collaborates exclusively with authorized translators, therefore all the translations are made by the qualified and authorized persons, it doesn’t matter the field of the text that is going to be translated.
HOW CAN I HAVE AN AUTHORIZED TRANSLATION?

There are two possibilities:
- - You come to our office with all the documents you have to translate and the secretary will give you all the necessary information;
- - Send on e-mail address all the documents you have to translate for receiving exact details about price, time to be done and the way of performing the service.
WHAT IS THE AVAILABILITY OF THE AUTHORIZED TRANSLATION/LEGALIZED TRANSLATION?
Authorized translations and legalized translations are available till expires the original document which represents the basis for the translated document. If the term of availability of the original document expires its translation becomes also not available. In the case of acts issued without term of availability as (diplomas, civil state acts) translations of it are also without term of availability. There are documents that have specified the term of availability, but we have also documents without specification of term availability, but according to the Legislation it is known that they are available just some months (criminal record).

TIME THE TRANSLATION IS DONE?
The term the translation is done depends on the difficulty degree of the document and the volume of it. When the client comes we establish together the term the translation is going to be taken. As a landmark you have to know that diplomas, civil state acts, ID card, criminal record are translated from 1 hour to 2 working days, but for more difficult translations as juridical adjudgement, contracts, medical translations, technic translations the term is from 5 to 10 working days, this term being always established with the client.
CAN WE SIGN A CONTRACT?
Yes, in both cases, for individuals and legal persons. We can sign a contract where we stipulate the type of translation (translation or interpreting), price, time to be done and other contractual conditions.
WHAT IS THE PRICE FOR A TRANSLATION?

HOW DO WE CALCULATE THE NUMBER OF PAGES?
A page is considered to have 1800 characters with spaces (we calculate using Word count option from Microsoft word). Simple documents as certificates, civil state acts, records are estimated as a standard page.
WHY IT IS USED AS THE CALCULATION METHOD OF SYMBOLS FROM THE TRANSLATED TEXT/DOCUMENT?
We count the symbols from the translated text/document and after that we divide it to 1800 in order to find how many pages there are translated. This is the most correct method of price establishing used in the translation field. It reflects with exactness the translator’s work. The obtained symbols number can be proved anytime to the client, it doesn’t matter what is the original document format which was brought to be translated. This method is not applied for the standard documents (civil state acts, diplomas, criminal records).
HOW IT IS PAID FOR THE TRANSLATION?
The translation services are paid cash at our office or by the banking transfer on our company bank account.
For the rapid translations or without notary authentication it is paid 100% from the price. For the translations made in a normal regime it is paid 50% in the day the document is brought and the rest will be paid when the translation is taken.
SHOULD I PRESENT THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENT?
We make translations from the original document or from the legalized copy of the document sent by the fax or by the e-mail with the specification of the type of translation at the end. In the case you need a legalized translation the original of the document is a must.
WHAT IS AN APOSTILLE?
Apostille represents a stamp that authenticates an official document and the signature that is on it. Apostille is required in the countries that signed the Hague Convention and do not certifies the content of the document.It is issued exclusively by the Justice Ministry of the Republic of Moldova and others entities that offer services like this that can have the intermediary position between the document holder/its representative and the institution that offers this service.
